Day 28: Sat 12 Mar – Orange

Ride: 20 km

Our second sleep in this trip – slept in until 7am!!  We had breakfast then went for a ride around the town looking for all the things the map said we should do.  First up was the Farmer's Markets where we had a coffee and our own eats.  There was nothing really different about this market to all the others, but it was something to see and do.  It was then onto the Book Fair where Greg browsed for ages.  Wendy browsed for a while then waited outside and read her book – on her iPhone – better than any real book as it fits in one's pocket and can be taken everywhere.  The Botanic Gardens was next on the to-do list and it was quite dry but you could tell they have tried to make it appealing.

It was all downhill on the way home.  Had lunch then a snooze and then went back out on the bikes to see the mini trains and the International Gardens which we could not find so came home.  We jumped in the truck and did another resup run to Woolies.
