Ride: 20 km
We were only up after 6:30am today (a sleep-in for us), and after coffee and toast we went for a good ride over the bridge to Surfside. Came home and had breakfast.
Whilst Wendy did the washing, Greg levelled the van, He had to use the jack to jack it up to get enough blocks of wood underneath the jockey wheel to make it all level. It looked pretty precarious balancing on top of the blocks but it worked and the shower did not "leak" again.
We took mum and dad out to dinner –
to the Indian restaurant we went to last time we were in town (when Greg had
his altercation with a ute) and were not disappointed, fantastic tastes – we
all looked like fat ticks as we walked out.
Today was even hotter than yesterday, reaching 42 degC!! Mum and Dad had the aircon on in the house all day and night. We put ours on just as we were getting ready for bed to cool the van down and then just had the little fan going all night and we were quite comfortable.
