Day 26: Thu 10 Mar – Canberra

Ride: 33 km

After breakfast we went for a ride around Lake BG taking the Western route for a change and it was good to refresh the memory as to what is around that side.  We stopped in the Beijing Garden to take some pictures and as we were getting ready to leave, Wendy noticed she had a flat back tyre!  So, off with the wheel, found the puncture and foung the offending puncture maker – a really hard thorn of some description.  It took forever for Greg to dig it out of the tyre before we could put a new tube in and be on our way.

We got home about 10:30am, had a late mornos then Wendy did a final wash – sheets, towels, and clothes.  Although it was an overcast day, it was dry, so everything dried really quickly.

After lunch and some careful deliberation, Wendy bought some more shares to add to her portfolio.  She bought Primary Health Care shares.

Dinner was with Kev, Sam and the kids.  Lorraine was also there.  We had Indian takeaway with wine on the deck and it was all very relaxing.  Just after arriving, Greg wanted to go for a walk in the Reserve so took the kids with him.  They then played on the trampoline for ages with Uncle Greg and they all a fantastic time – they really love their Uncle Greg.
