Day 24: Tue 08 Mar – Canberra

Ride: 45 km

Whilst Greg had breakfast before we left, Wendy just had a coffee.  We rode with Dale to the start of the Lake circuit; he went left and we went right heading for Kingston to check out all the new developments and have breakfast.  Wendy had a delicious bacon and egg roll with the best roll ever, and Greg had a cronut which he said he should not have had as it looked better than it tasted!

It was then off to the Australian National Botanic Gardens for a wander.  Greg also wanted help identifying a flower he  had found on the farm.  He eventually came away with a form to send in.

We were home just before lunch so Wendy started cooking the chicken for tonight's chicken and spinach pie (low carb).  We were cooking for D&S and the kids.  After lunch, Greg went for another ride to Belconnen to have a wander through the Mall.

We fed the kids first and they loved the pie, except for the spinach and onions.  They did however, each try a little bit of spinach.  The adults sat down for dinner after the kids were bathed and in bed.  We had a lovely dinner chatting about nothing in particular, over a few glasses of wine.
