Originally, we were only going to be in Kiama for 2 nights, however, due to lack of vacancies further north, we were able to extend our stay here in Kiama and do a few more touristy things.
After a shorter ride than yesterday, we had breakfast and then headed out to Oak Flats (mainly for fuel) and Jamberoo. Another reason for heading to Oak Flats was to hopefully call-in and catch up with Carmel and Dave Jordan (Carmel was an Army nurse, and Dave was an MP, and we met them both in Townsville). Wendy sent an SMS to Carmel only to learn they had moved to Essendon 2 weeks before Christmas; bugger!
So we headed off to Jamberoo to be a tourist. Jamberoo is not a very big place and we had walked (slowly) the main street in about 3 minutes. We had lunch in the very old Commercial Hotel aka the Jamberoo Pub.
After getting back to the van it was time for the ritual afternoon snooze. Greg then went for paddle and Wendy did some work. Dinner was steak (Wendy), lamb chop (Greg) and veggies
