Day 17: Tue 01 Mar – Denhams Beach to Tathra

Greg was up very early and out riding as Wendy was having her toast and coffee.  She followed later and met Greg on his way home.  We had breakfast, packed up slowly and had mornos with mum and dad before leaving about 10am.  

We stopped off in Bermagui for lunch – Greg had fish and chips, Wendy had a burger and chips.  Both meals were quite large and filled our tummies nicely.  We carried on to Tathra on a very twisty and hilly road and arrived at Tathra Beachside Family Park about 1:15pm, checked in, set up (site #125) and had a micro snooze.  We went for a walk along the main street to check out what was around, then back to the van along the beach. 

The wind came up and got quite breezy, so we decided a bit of R&R was needed so we read and relaxed.  Wendy turned on the TV to watch the news whilst preparing the dinner, but due to the wind (we think) reception was very patchy.  Dinner was a salad due to the large lunch we had both consumed.
